...that I may have overdone it a little on the Restore Oil (I don't agree -- these seats were in SORRY shape) and that they believe that this is just some delayed action of their product. They claim that the Restore Oil 'chases out' some of the 'impurities' in the leather. True enough, there was a waxy residue the first couple of times that I applied the restore oil, but this is something a bit different.

Bottom line: they suggested a COMPLETE (two or three times) cleaning with the Pristine Clean (which I've done) and then they suggested that I purchase a Clear Coat sealer from them to 'finish' the seats again, thinking that the original finish may be crumbling a little bit and the clear coat will bond the finish together again.

I am willing to give the clear coat a shot beacause I thought that the original finish may be coming off BEFORE I even started with the Leatherique. However, the finish is coming off more now than before.

Hey -- don't go thinking that I'm bashing Leatherique, because I'm not. They were very helpful and the back seat looks/feels great! It's just that my front seats were REALLY dried out after 16 years of neglect.
