As a professional show car detailer for 30 years...one of our best tricks for removing parking lot paint marks and tree sap is automotive spray brake cleaner.
Spray only on a paper towel(rubber gloves recommended)and just hold the paper towel on the spot for a few seconds (do not rub)repete until spot is gone.
It won't hurt the OEM paint as it evaporates almost instantly.(or you can also try a little mild rubbing compound on a foam pad.)
I have a 88 SPG (my 2nd SPG)that everyone keeps trying to buy...and this is one way I keep it looking great.
Detailing doesen't have to be hard or time consuming to have a great looking car if you do it right with the right products.
Feel free to ask me any detailing questions!
Enjoy!
