I've used POR15 a few times and have had pretty good results. However, you must really follow their instructions TO THE LETTER. You can't just sand it and put the POR15 on....after you clean the area and sand it, you have to use their etching-solution. The black POR15 topcoat is ok to use as a final coat in areas that you won't see, but if you use it on any surface that's exposed to the sun, it will turn from black to somewhat of a charcoal shade. But you can use a black finish paint over the POR 15 paint.
