Thanks to Bret. I emailed him offline about what to use with my new PC and it worked like a charm. He was even so nice as to send me a sample. All I can say is thanks and I wish I had spent the $99 on the PC and $55 on pads 8 years ago.
I know its not a saab, but:
Subject: 2004 allroad - Cobalt Blue
Condition: 19K miles with lots of small scratches and some bigger scratches (like people walking along side the car brushing against it (from parking in NYC), small key marks?, dog claw scratches) lots of swirls from when dealer had it.
Well first time with the PC. I have to admit I still did a bunch by hand because it was quicker for the wax and some areas with the SMR. The PC got out any and all scratches using Megs #83. I am very happy with that combo. I spent a good 3-4 hours working various scratches and swirls all over the car - some took some time to work as I was using a lighter abrasive.
So I did the following:
1) Deep Clean with Zaino Z-7 Car Wash and Water
2) Zaino Z-18 Clay just hood and windshield
3) Apply Meguiars #83 via PC on swirled and scratched areas.
5) Apply 3M Swirl Mark Remover for Dark Color Cars via PC and some by hand
6) 3M IHG by hand
6) Apply P21S Carnuba by hand
7) Stoners Invisible Glass on windows
8) Mother aluminum cleaner all aluminium bits, tailpipe, rims
I had to do this over 2 weekends. Took me forever to wash it the first time and get all the crap off and then a lot of time with the PC on the scrtaches. I still feel I have some work left here and there.
Since it went late into the night not many pictures, but here is a picture of the sky in cobalt blue....
Also my interior is spotless and the 303 aerospace protectant is a must!
