The Meguiars Deep Crystal cleaner and polish are pretty good, but it really depends on the condition of your paint. Mother's also has a line of polishes that are pretty good.

Meguairs Color-X is very good with fixing oxidation, 3M Perfect It polishes are very good for fixing moderate scratches, swirling and spider webbing. Doing all this by hand will be tiring and time consuming. If you have a random orbital buffer (even a cheapie single speed), you'll get better results with less effort. I've found foam application bonnets at local Pep Boy's

If you're going to all the trouble of claying and polishing, I would recommend a paint sealant. Paint sealants offer much longer & better protection. Meguairs NXT is quckly becoming a favorite - even for regular detailers. Goes on smooth and easy, & glides right off with a micro fiber towel - don't use terry towels or cloth diapers as these will cause swirls and micro marring of the paint. You're making the effort to get it right - don't screw it up at the end. Mother's also has a new paint selant as well. Paint sealants can be topped with wax - just be sure it's not a cleaner wax. Meg's Gold CLass is a good choice, or Meg's #26 if you can find it.

Eaglo One A2Z is a good wheel cleaner. Mother's Back to Black for tires and trim.

Also - after claying your car - consider claying your glass. Process is exactly the same. You will be surprised by how much clearer your glass will appear. Then use a good quality glass cleaner at the end - Stoner's Invisible glass is very good.

All of these items can be had at Pep Boys or other auto parts retailers.
