I agree with AeroJ, the McGuire's leather wipes do smell good, but don't seem to do much.
I tried the new Lexol leather wipes on my son's car this weekend, and they do a great job! They're not very expensive, less work than the regular Lexol, and leave the leather silky and comfortable feeling.
If you've never conditioned the leather before, I'd suggest cleaning it first with some kind of leather cleaner (I use Lexol cleaner with a terry cloth towel and a SOFT brush). Otherwise, the dirt will combine with the leather conditioner and leave the surface feeling gummy. The way I check is to look at the conditioner wipes after I use them – if there's dirt on them after use, I give the leather a cleaning.
Have fun!
