glaze is acrylic and will last 4 to 6 months, wax is carnubba and will last 4 to 6 weeks. Some people think (and I agree) glaze will give you that wet glassy finish but will lack depth of clarity, especially on a darker car, (this technique is fabulous on a black or white car, the polish step on a white is very slow). Anyway, many show car people will glaze and wax, 2 or 3 coats of each. If you start early in the day you can do a couple of coats. god luck
