I have a black '00 Aero, my time proven formula is similar to yours....
wash with Mother's car wash soap,
Clean the surface with Meguiar's #1
Glaze the surface with 3M IHG,
Wax the surface with Blitz one grand wax
The resulting finish looks like candy. A couple of comments,
>any dirty polishing pads, towels, etc, which are used on the car's surfaces will leave fine sratches, if in doubt get a clean one,
>never use chamois or other poorly absorbing materials to remove products or water from the car's surface because they encourage you to use more force thus resulting in fine scratches,
>use peanut oil to remove wax residues from non painted black surfaces.
>use Rain-X on glass surfaces
>if you intend to vacuum the car's interior, do so BEFORE you wash the car
Good luck.
