you have to decide on what level of paint quality you want.
it could cost $5000 for a really top notch job.
it will cost you ~$800 for Macco (including the fixes you mentioned) and macco paints your rubber trim and chrome at no extra charge :-) (tires too usually)
shop around and look at their work. look at the depth of shine, presence of impurities in the finish, swirl marks etc.
I would think that for a job that you will be happy with 2-3k would be reasonable.
