Its funny as when i first encountered it a few years ago i blamed it on the microfibre cloth rubbing a "hole" or layer of the tint off. But if you apply white spirits (i think you guys call that a kind of drycleaning fluid) then it will crystallise and come off. Mostly. Have to keep rotating the rag and reapplying white spirits. But you can never get the whole lot off. There always remains some of the crystallised gunk on the tint. On glass, well that just wipes straight off. Bugs the hell out of me...
