will not stick. to do job properly you really should take off the wax, then clean up/degrease the surface before putting the paint on.
you can then wax it again, although you may want to wait a while for the touch up paint to fully harden before doing that.
yes, it's more work, but you will be more likely to have a result you want to live with!
