Succesfully cleaning pine resin Posted by Kristjan [Email] (#1852) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Kristjan) on Tue, 17 Jun 2014 08:42:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I thought I'd share this, though it might be common knowledge.
The previous owner of my recently-acquired 9-3 SC used to park under some pine trees, and consequently there were several hardened resin spots on the car. I used small amounts of hand sanitizer and was able to rub off the resin quite easily. Afterwards I polished and waxed the car and could see no damage to the paint.
The nice thing about hand sanitizer is that because of its consistence it doesn't spread all over the place.
