I.E. the black strips that run along the bumpers and doors. Correct?
I've been experimenting with a few products to do just what you are asking. I've tested Forever Black and recent results are poor. Its worked OK for me in the past but maybe its me, or maybe they changed the formula but FB streaks like crazy. It looks like hell on my 9-5.
I just tested a product called Hi Temp Molding & Bumper Renew. Hi Temp Products is a company the mfr's detailing products for professionals only, no consumers. But this Bumper Renew product is terrific!! I treated all the black trim on a VW Passat and it came out perfectly. I'm thrilled with this stuff so far. Only unknown to me is durability. It was super easy to apply: Squirt some product on a clean sponge and wipe onto the trim. That's it. Could not be easier.
I have bought several Hi Temp products from a place called Top Of The Line. They cater to mostly pro detailers and XXX hard core enthusiasts. Click on the attached link for more info about Molding & Bumper Renew.
