New cars, depreciation and selling a used car

Everyone knows Saabs depreciate like crazy. SaabUSA is offering huge incentives on '03s. It is certainly a buyers market....so my question is:
Is it better to take a licking on the sale of my used Saab, or wait until later in the year when the '04s come out and hope the Saab car market gets a little less crazy?
I am having difficulty reconciling continued insurance and other operating expenses vs the miserable financial situation in selling my car now. I do need to get rid of the car due to unforseen personal reasons, but if I could make several thousand more by waiting until the end of summer, I would be willing to wait.
What are your thoughts? Wait or sell at a big loss?
And NO this is not a "Disguised For-Sale Ad", so I hope I don't see any replies hinting that.
Thanks.
