Perhaps the C900 snabbery is due to the fact that many of us can't afford a new car and we are a little jealous seeing these nice cars driving around. I prefer an older car and I like a lot about the C900TC design. I find the older cars easier to work on and I like the different look of the car which sets me apart from the new car yuppy, never change their own oil crowd.
If they come out with the radical 9-3X and 9X cars I will have renewed respect for Saab. I appreciate the designers pushing the envelope and being inovators. I think Saab should have mainstream cars as well as radical ones so I hope Saab sells a lot of cars so Saab can come out with the ultimate Saaby Saab car with a curved windscreen and hatch.
I enjoyed how you pointed out Saabs long history of sharing with other car companies. As long as they apply Saabs philosophy to the overall product, sharing stuff is good and will make Saab competitive. If Saab knew best about how to run a car company then why couldn't the company survive on it's own? Lets give GM 5 years and see how it goes now that they have takin charge at Saab.
Best, KB.
