Hey guys!
This isn't really anything special, I'm just really happy and excited about a spontaneous trip me and my buddy just got back from.
At 6AM my friend (from highschool who attends the same college as me) and I took my other friend to the Savannah, GA airport to save him some taxi money. Well at 7AM my highschool buddy and I are leaving the airport to come back to the dorms, and out of the blue we agreed to make a 3-4 hour (one way) drive to Daytona Beach, FL. We went right back to the dorms, got our stuff, and left. Complelety random and out of the blue. By the way, we don't have classes here at SCAD on Fridays, so we didn't skip them all ( :
It was such a blast! We got back around 8PMish. Both totally sunburnt. It was actually my first time to Daytona Beach. I've been everywhere else in FL (even St. Augustine like 15 minutes away), but never there. We drove right by the Daytona Internation Speedway, and man was that huge. The main reason was for the awesome beachs. There was also a bunch of really cool looking custom choppers and motorcycles. And man that ocean water was warm. I think the little chalkboard on the back of the lifeguard chair said it was mid 70 degree water.
No real reason for the post. Like I said, I'm just really happy with how much fun the trip was!
take care,
happy SAABing,
Taylor
