Towing isn't bad. I pulled a 1500lb boat with my '83 900s years ago. The problem is pulling it out of the water on an algae covered steep concrete launch ramp. The hitch weight coupled with the steep ascent angle unloads the front (drive) wheels and the next thing you know you're driving a Swedish submarine. I saw a Taurus slide back enough to cover the trunk lid once. One of the most amusing (sadistic) pastimes is hanging around a busy launch site on a busy day at the beginning of the season!
