I'm afraid your trusty old PC has outlived it's usefulness. You would need to upgrade your memory and depending on what kind it is the old stuff can be more expensive than the new stuff. It does not make sense to put any money in this box. I did a quick check on http://www.hpshopping.com You can buy a refurbished HP 504n for $405 with free shipping. That will get you a 2.0 Ghz Celeron processor, 256mb of ram and most importantly Windows XP which is much more capable of handling the digital photography you want to get involved with. If you are savy with eBay at all there are some great deals out there too if you are careful. CompUSA Auctions are getting rid of some recently discontinued models. Good luck. BTW, that PSC 2210 is a great printer, scanner, copier and fax. If you don't need the fax you can get the PSC 2110 and save a good deal of money.
