As it stands today, the CTS doesn't interest me with the current 220hp mill..once they drop in that new 255hp 3.6L V6 though, look out. I think this car will be a contender eventually, once the new engine comes with a manual trans (another reason to hate GM, they have been doing this for years). I really didn't like the CTS until I saw the V-spec model at the NY auto show..amazing what some monochrome paint and large wheels can do (that LT-1 doesn't hurt either). I visit the Detroit area about twice a year and I rent a caddy every time. The last time I had a nice seville, brand new, only 100 mi. The Northstar engine is a definite winner and I broke it in the right way on M-14 and I-696.
