my thoughts on increasing fuel economy

I would guess that improving the intake and exhaust would allow it to run more efficiently, even though this is typically done for more performance. I get 22-23 in mostly city driving and on the highway average around 28-29 (travelling around 70+ on long trips). I get these numbers from calculating after a fillup, not the trip computer.
I have a newly installed Saab Sport exhaust which isn't making it easy to drive slower (!) and plan on adding the K&N. We'll see if that improves things, but I'd be surprised if it does by more than 1-2 MPG on the highway.
I'm also careful about tire pressure and regular services.
