Hey, it's Swedish! (although assembled in the USA). I have the upright model, bought it 10 years ago, and it still runs perfectly. Really sucks up the dirt. Last year I brought it into the Electrolux dealer and they 'tuned it up', replacing old parts, rotating brush, power cord, etc. It is like new again. Ever hear of 'tuning up' a Hoover? No. People just throw them away.
Like my Saab, Electrolux is a well engineered product that has long life and can be rebuilt for an even longer life.
