I can see this campaign as an overall corporate positioning campaign -- pushing the Saab brand in general, but I believe they really need to highlight the products themselves -- and the product attributes/innovations -- much more strongly. Products support the overall brand, and the 9-3 and 9-5 are still too obscure. The campaign is light, and it seems that Saab doesn't really need light right now. How will they handle the 9-2 I wonder? Don't want to really even think about the 9-7.
Advertising needs to be consistent and must have a strong theme and messaging to win mindshare. I like the campaign for overall look and feel, but messaging is not its strong suit. Pity.
