I get a good laugh at all the complaints about Saab commercials around here.
Let's face the honest truth. There is NO WAY for a commercial to appeal to everyone. It's just not possible. Oh sure, you can create BLAND commercials, but nobody notices, and they're totally forgettable.
If cars sliding sideways doesn't appeal to you, it does to others.
If the "emotional" kind of commercials appeal to you, it makes others turn the channel.
I don't envy the job of the typical ad agency that's for sure.
