At RADIOHEAD concert tons of compliments on my 9-5

Radiohead played at Alpine Valley outdoor amphitheatre in southern Wisconsin (in 2001 they played by the lake in downtown Chicago) to 30,000+ people. Totally amazing band live with all of their pent up energy, frustration and general feel-good wackiness. Easily one of the best concerts I've seen since late 1980s U2. Anyway, with the concert taking place in rural dairyland the parking lot had easily 12,000 cars. So, you know, after the concert we all ast around and waited before we could leave, meaning tons of people came by the 02' black 9-5. Basically, 80% of the audience was male, and the average age was maybe 23 or 24 (I'm 31) so there were a lot of just out of college kids who, you know, would be impressed with a newer black Saab at a Radiohead concert. Lots of kids offered us a beer or "just stopped in to say hello" as one of them put it. I was a little suprised at how orderly, even good natured these kids were. They just hung out and waited; no yelling, no complaining, no road rage. I was also a little suprised at how much pot smoking was going on, but, you know, 'it's all good', as they say. My favorite was upong finally getting to drive the car, just as we were about to hit the dirt road to take us up to the highway along with the other cars in our area a huge group of kids made a wave, yelling, "Black Saab! Black Saab!" BEfore I could let this go to my head, though, they did it for the car behind us too; "Ford Aerostar! Ford Aerostar!"
