Saab reliability under-rated

Hi,
I got to thinking about the fact that I've had zero problems with my
9-5 (other than driver's side door sticking due to the many layers of
insulation, solved with some lubrication), and I am somewhat convinced
that Saab reliability is under-rated.
How many people un-wittingly get their Saabs serviced by their local
mechanic. One could so easily replace NGK plugs with similar spark plugs
which are not resistor type, and of course the turbo needs servicing by
knowledgeable mechanics.
Also, what about those Saab-ers who live in the boon-docks with only
one Saab dealer in 100 mile radius of their residence? Could the bad
service these Saab-ers receive have an influence on how Saab quality is
perceived?
Notice that other luxury automobiles that do not have Direct Ignition
and do not have turbo-chargers can be serviced by the local mechanic.
So, how many DI problems are due to plugs which are not NGK? And, how
many Saabs are not serviced correctly?
I've had less problems with my Saab than my old Saturn, which was pretty
darned reliable.
thanks
Jae
