Thanks for the suggestions, yep have the International Student ID card. I have saved $3000 bucks for the trip (3 months) however the university gives me a $225 stipend every other week. I am (for sure) going to Brussels, Paris, Cork (Ireland), and a ten day tour of Athens and two greek islands, with possibly two other trips depending on money.

I am learning to master the internet and all the cheapie airlines (ryanair, easyjet...) found some good hostels as well.

As for the "birds", My current girlfriend happens to be going on the same trip. We had signed up and been accepted independently before we even met so it worked out like this. Could make the trip interesting, has me a little apprehensive ;-) However, she is a remarkable girl and I am plenty happy...and I have heard the pickings arent that great over there.

my pops is on a month long business trip to China, Japan, and S. Korea he tends to enjoy it, perhaps China will work out.
