Questions for sandblasting experts.... Posted by ryan [Email] (#2222) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ryan) on Mon, 8 Sep 2003 15:41:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am preparing to sandblast my Sonett frame, and I can either take it somehwhere, or do it myself (if that's reasonable). My biggest question is what size air tank and/or cfm requirements need to be met. I don't want to burn up the pump on our tank doing this, as I know it would be running non stop, and it can get pretty warm just going from about 70 to 150 psi when I'm not even using it. Is this something that is just best left to professionals or simple enough for the shadetree mechanic? Thanks a lot!
Oh yeah, whatever feedback you've got is great, please share more input than my question requires!!
