Hope this means there will be a Sonett soon.
Pontiac Hardtop Convertible Tagged G6 (From Edmunds.com)
The next generation of midsize Pontiac sedans and coupes -- and a
retractable hardtop convertible version as well -- will be known as the G6.
Pontiac is retiring the Grand Am nameplate in this category because, as
division general manager Lynn Myers says, "It is so new and different
from the Grand Am that it demands a name that is equally new." The G6 is
based on the Epsilon platform shared by the Saab 9-3, and shares the
name of the concept car shown at this year's Detroit auto show. A
production version of the sedan bows with V6 power at January's Detroit show; the coupe and hardtop convertible are due soon after.
