Just leave it there. Figs are awfully finicky. It doesn't need a whole lot of light, but it doesn't like to be moved. It will finally stop protesting and start to leaf again.
Also is it drafty at all where it is? If its catching a cool draft -- it will be unhappy and you'll have to move it somewhere warmer. I had a plant that was across the room from the door, but the cold cold air would hit it over there and it dropped all of its leaves. I moved to a different room and now its very happy.
You could also try a little fertilizer too.
