look at pistonheads.com & I am sure you can get some info there
from what I remember they are VERY expensive to maintain & need expensive valve adjusting, belts & a few other items every 10K miles or so. You could also call a few local european car shops to see what they have to say about the cars.
For me, a lotus Esprit has always caught my eye. They are getting cheap & maintenance isn't horrible either! They claim every 15,000 miles requires $1500 in servise work for normal maintenance. The V8's are over twice as expensive to maintain.
