Yeah, I read the review, seems like someone in the suspension department really goofed up. You would think that it would have multiple modes to deal with this, but who knows, could just be a early production problem. Of course the handling is pretty impressive for an SUV, albeit a small one, hence the harsh ride. I drive a Saab, and I love it, but I have always wanted a BMW. Their engineering is the best in the biz, their engines are amazing and their overall performance in a nonsports car is some of the best around. Their styling is a matter of taste, Mr. Bangle certainly has ruffled some feathers, but it is very difficult to redesign an icon, and I would say he is doing a good job, except for his trunks. The cars themselves have been unchanged for so long that any major change is going to be met with much opposition and opinion. I think that on the whole they are a good departure, and the redesign of the new models will probably work out some of the unfavorable design issues. There was talk of Ford buying BMW in the past when Ford actually made money. This would have been a huge mistake in my opinion, as I consider Ford a much lesser car company in many areas. Do you think Saab is better or worse off from being bought by GM? I don't know the answer, but it is something to think about. GM has certainly sucked some of the individuality out of Saab, but would Saab be still in the USA if it wasn't a part of GM?
