hello - i have the standard clarion cd player 6 disc changer in the trunk. it stopped working today. i was playing a cd on my way to get firewood. actually, i was playing a cd while loading the wood...i put the wood in the trunk - not a huge load, and i was extremely careful to not put anything near or against the player. i get in the car after loading the wood (cd player is still playing), and i start the car - it switched over to the radio, which i thought odd (usually it keeps playing the cd). now the CD button does not respond. the player still has power (i can remove and replace the cartridge - it checks the discs like it always has), but when i press the CD button, i get nothing - it just keeps playing the radio.
i removed the connector and plugged it back in - everything seems fine. so i have no clue what it could be. any ideas?
thanks for your time
chris
note: i posted this message on the NG board too, but i thought i would try here as well. again, thanks.
