Reality vs perception in SoCal.... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: not all markets need heated seats, partsmanager, Sun, 22 Feb 2004 15:02:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
"Need" heated seats in SoCal. I haven't turned mine off all winter.
Most people laugh when you recommend heated seats in SoCal. They could understand if it snowed here. In reality heated seats are quite useful even in mild SoCal.
We are weather weenies in SoCal. It get's below 70 or god forbid 60 and on come the heated seats. The leather is cold in shorts.
As to Saab making them standard, that's a thorny issue. As a dealer you want to keep the MSRP as cheap as possible. Heated seats as an option lets SoCal dealers cater to perception and price. There are way too many options for 2004 9-3's, but that's another issue.
IMHO make the heated seats standard without the headlight washeres.
