Best value would be Shell Rotella 'synthetic' Group III. It is differnent from other group III oils.

In the US, 5W40 get at Walmart, $12.88 for a US gallon jug. It is a blue jug. This is where group III oils should be priced.

Also available at some other car parts stores, but at around 50% more costly!!!

In Canada, it is 0W40 for 4 liter and proportionally more expensive than the exchange rate would indicate. At CTC and and other? places.

Another catagory is availability. Amsoil and Redline are not availalbe on local retail shelves.

So overall for quality and availabiltiy, I vote for Mobil 1 0W40. I also recommend Delvac 1 5W40, but hard to find, but starting to hit shelves as Mobil 1 'Truck and SUV', 5W40, it is the same oil as Delvac 1, just a retail marketing focus. So watch for that.
