Not a Saab but I have bought a US car and brought it into Canada.
Seems to me that as the seller, your only responsibility is to take the money and hand over the car and title. Make sure it's a real check and you're not being "frudstered". You need a printed bill of sale or whatever proof of sale your state requires.
The buyer needs to do a bunch of paperwork in order to import to Canada though. Depending on how old the vehicle is (very old vehicles are exempt from many inspections): He will need the title in hand and to give 72hrs notice to US Customs so they can title search the car and stamp the title "exported". He needs to contact the registrar of imported vehicles in Canada (http://www.riv.ca) to find out if the vehicle can be legally imported and what mods may be required. There will be a charge of around $200 Cdn for a federal inspection. He will need to pay 7% GST tax at the border and provincial sales tax when he licenses the car in his province. His province will require a safety inspection and possibly an emissions inspection.
http://www.riv.ca is the home for the whole process.
