And 3.3 pounds sounds incredibly good. Understand I'm coming from high school where the dreaded backpack weighs a good 20 pounds on a light homework night.
The school does have most of the campus set up for wireless, but they use only the Wireless B system. If I understand correctly, if I get a Wireless G card, it will work on the B system?? Now how does Wireless A fit in?? The only problem is the dorms are not wireless, so I need an Ethernet card as well. And it would be nice if I could have them both integrated. I wonder if the smaller laptops have the capability to have both integrated along with a CD drive.
I have no idea where the antenna is; that's something I'll need to look into.
Actually, Gateway advertises that the CD/DVD drive is "modular", as is the memory card reader...Does that mean that they are not integrated?? Or are they just removable??
And I'll get the warantee for sure...Thanks so much for all your help!
