Other posters have given a lot of good information, let me just add something relating to the "she has owned it for only 8 months but is selling it because she is pregnant and doesn't want a stick any more" part...

I think there are some people out there who end up with Aeros not because they specifically want the sportiness of the car, but because they want the "top of the line" and they're told that's what the Aero is. When they've owned the car for a bit, they begin to realize that some of the things many of us like about the Aero don't suit them that well.

Let me provide a couple of examples. I love my Aero and have no intention of getting rid of it, but the issues involved with folding the rear seats really annoy me. The large cargo capacity of my last 9000 (and preceeding 900's) was something I loved, and I find this car to be somewhat less useful.

Another issue is the high seats. My wife refuses to drive my car because there's not enough room between the steering wheel and the seat bottom, even with the seat in its lowest position. The person selling the car you're looking at may be experiencing the same problem.

Guess what I'm trying to say is that it's very good to be cautious about buying a used car, but it may be that she's selling the car simply because it's just not a good match for her needs.
