Wheel balancing and alignment

Had Nokian WR installed on a Chevy by Costco. Wheels are somewhat bent…been like that since I bought it 41K ago. Needed as much as 3 ounces, but balanced to zero. Costco used Coats XR 1800 balancers. They said there was hiccup on one wheel which they put on the rear.
Is 3 ounces too much? Will I get problems later? Will the hiccup be a problem when rotated to the front? No noticeable vibration. So far tires are far better than the Firestone Affinity they replaced, but then that is a no brainer.
Lastly should I get an alignment? No idea when it was last done. Previous tires wore evenly and car tracks fairly straight. Only issue is a slightly misaligned steering wheel, but that may be due to road camber. In other cars the wheel was never quite straight and I had to just live with it. Afraid an alignment guy will just make things worse.
