Help me out, I haven't been around the boards for several years. What's the DI? (and when I did I had an 89 900T)
Other answers: We'll be taking roads that are or parallel I-90. The Badlands (ND) and Parks in Montana (Yellowstone or Glacier, don't know if we'll have time for both) are our planned highlights. I have a cool book from the National Geographic about Louis and Clark, and how to find cool places related to their trip (this is the 200 yr ann of their Voyage) that are close major roads (state, or interstate highways). We hope to see a bunch of them.
Camping, maybe a hotel or two. We have from tomorrow (hope to get to Erie, PA in day one) till Aug 22nd. One stop in Indiana to see family on the way back.
I have some coolant, water, was thinking about a quart of oil (figure if there's one thing in the US its gas stations). The mechanic gave us the thumbs up on the car with the caveat "You'll need (some sleeve in the transmission) replaced when you come back, it'll be fine though." Not what I wanted to hear, particularly. Maybe I need some transmission fluid, if that gets leaky? The one big downside of having Saabs is the general lack of support in between the coasts... you'd think the whole GM tie in might help but...
Someone asked if we have AAA, we do, through her family. As much as I hate how they take membership dollars and use them to lobby against things like public transportation... but we don't have to pay for it, so I'll take it.
I'll hope to have some pics on my weblog (below) when we find WiFi. And hopefully our FM transmitter for the iPod will work better than it does in the city. Wired support for the iPod cannot come fast enough!!
