seem very good. The info is acurate for the Sony DCS-W1 at least.
I just bought a Sony DCS-W1 a couple days ago, so i am still learning about its flaws. It works great as a pocketable, point and shot camera that also has the ablity to give a good deal of manual control. The deciding item for me was the use of AA size NiMH batteries, which means you can use AA size alkalines in a pinch (which can really be a life saver when on vacation and away from your battery charger). Though the Sony battery charger will accept 120/240V 50-60HZ so will work just about anywhere in the world with a set of plug adapters.
Remember to factor into the price a second set of NiMH batteries and a larger Memory Stick Pro. I bought a 512M Memory Stick Pro by Sandisk. Those two items will add another $150 to your purchase price. So not inexpensive to get going wih the Sony.
