hey here is my school ESSAY WHY SAAB IS MY FAVORITE WORD ENJOY

DREW GOLUB FAVORITE WORD
The word Saab might as well be tattooed on my body in fact the thought has crossed my mind. I live, eat and sleep the word Saab. There is not a moment in my day when that one word is not on my mind. Throughout my life I was exposed to Saabs, from the SPG my dad drove to the 9000 my mom drove. Sure there were more, but these two stuck out. No matter where I went I could find the cars because they stuck out and were different. I can’t say for sure what model of Saab I saw first but I can remember when I first really under stood what Saab meant. It was September fifteenth, 2002. My dad pulled up in what was soon to be my car, a 1991 900 turbo Special Edition convertible. I told my dad “I want that car.” But I still didn’t understand the meaning of Saab till I drove it and from that point on I was hooked. Everything about the car was unique and different. The car fit me perfectly. It was different and I like standing out in the crowd of Xerox copies. Looking at the red griffin that represents Saab, you can tell that it means business with its serpent like tongue protruding from its mouth to the gold crown the griffin wears symbolizing, royalty. I’ve heard from many people that the word Saab saved their life. So would I be wrong comparing Saab to a security blanket that shelters kids fears? One may think of the word Saab as a car but to me it’s a way of life. Saab represents being different and being unique. Everything I do is somehow related to the word Saab. Saab is high class, luxurious, stylish and fast. Saab equals quality. Saab is like a fighter jet with no wings flying down the highway, its sleek lines cutting thru the air, its tires hugging the asphalt. That’s because Saab takes its ideas, lines, and safety from the fighter jets they build. You may ask why I'm so loyal to the word Saab. Its not just because I drive one but because Saab drives me. It drives me to think creatively and uniquely. It’s almost like my brain is a Saab ECU, my heart is a motor powering my feet, and when the turbo kicks in its like adrenalin surging thru my veins. Saab is my favorite word because Saab is me.
