Suggestions for winter wheel covers.... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 23 Oct 2004 17:00:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
When I initially bought my steel wheels from Tire Rack for winter use I also bought a set of plastic wheel covers from them for only $25 which "sort of" looked like Saab wheels. Naturally, $25 doesn't get much in terms of quality or durability and after three years of use they are shot.
Tire Rack no longer sells this model of wheel cover, and most other aftermarket covers I have seen look cheesy. I can get a set of new Saab covers from Europe for only $50, but shipping is $60 to get them here! Other State-side sources all seem to be $40+ per wheel and they may be used (some sources say used, others say new/used).
Sure wish I had bought those 15-inch Saab Alloys at auction last year. Any suggestions or leads will be appreciated. Will 15-inch 900 or 9000 covers fit a 9-5 with 15-inch wheels?
Thanks.
