A lot of the problems people are having relate to spyware or antivirus programs that get broken by the firewall feature. I run a pretty tight ship in my lab about running updates and cleaning spyware and such off the systems and it's been fine. No problems with McAfee Antivirus either, but check around if you use a different one. Also make sure you run Spybot or something similar before putting SP2 on your existing installations. Good luck with it!
