Finally got the room painted, trimmed out the built-in stereo rack (can't believe how much space that saved me in the room), ceiling lights in and furniture/pictures back in place.
My camera sucks indoors! Seems to produce a lot of red as it is, and with dark red walls, I had to take about 60 photos on various settings just to try and get something to come out clear. So excuse the grainyness of the photos please. I wanted a dark red to try and 'black out' the room during movies with the lights down low without actually painting the walls black. Camera still isn't producing the red correctly, but you'll get the idea.
Next step is looking for a nice DLP HDTV projector to ceiling mount (cables already run for that and to mount my Xbox next to it) and get a 120" screen up front where my old pre-hdtv, boxy, square, rear projection TV is now. Going to be taking those pictures off the wall once that's up, just had them there to fill in some space.
Room is 13' W x 17' L and makes for a pretty decent sized area. Behind the sub, I put a speaker terminal plate in the wall with cables that go from that to my amps, and then just have banana plugs on the cables in front just to plug in. Also one plate each for the rears (not in photos). Nice and convienent for the next person that moves in.
All in all a fun project, really wish I had more room to work with for extra seating...etc., but it's getting closer to what we're trying to achieve :)
