I AM SO ANNOYED WITH MY INDY SHOP

I had my car in for service at my indy Saab repair shop. I had in the dash storage area a new hood emblem that I just bought. The shop, without my asking them, decided to put it on for me. I thought that was a nice gesture - but I was annoyed that there was glue all around the emblem. Today, I went to try and clean up the glue and I noticed that the emblem was clearly a used emblem with cracks and scratches. So they did me "the favor" of putting it on for me, so they could keep the brand new one. What nerve!!
How do I handle this?! I'm otherwise very satisfied with their service.
Thanks in advance for your opinions.
