I bought my 2000 9-5 lpt from them new, but as a GM employee pricing and dealing wasn't an issue. However, I did get so P-O'd at them at end of sale that I almost walked away (I would have left if my wife hadn't dropped me off when I went to pick up the car), but 10 miles in January is a little far to hoof it.
The Salesman deposited me in an office with their "Closing Officer" who spent the next 45+ minutes engaged in high pressure sales tactics trying to get me to buy an overpriced warranty. She pretty much called me an idiot for not buying it. This is the same place (while still Goodman) that sold a retired and handicapped couple a stock new Cadillac Catera for over $100,000! That's right, the previous owner and some others there were real gems!
I perform my 90% of my own service so I know little of their Saab service abilities. I know via a co-worker of my wife that their Cadillac service abilities suck! I had all my free oil changes done there for the first 30,000 miles, they never washed the car as promised, were ignorant of current Saab TSB's, and possibly broke one of my fog-lights. Their previous Service Manager for Saabs refused to provide me with replacement lug bolts as part of Saab's recall unless I had them install my winter wheels (I assume at my cost!).
All of these issues were before the recent "forced" sale of the Dealership (that $100,000 Catera caused a LOT of bad press for GM), so I don't know what the new owner and their team is like.
Fortunately there is a very good "Saab only" independent mechanic shop in Ann Arbor. I have only used them once but it is still good to know there is a competent alternative in the area.
