This was fun. I sent this to the guys in our local Saab club already. Read on:

So one of the other salesman at my company (ambulance and rescue truck manufacturer) asked me if I'd help him deliver an ambulance to Toledo General Hospital last night then stay at his place on Lake Erie and help him with an appointment this morning to demo another ambulance. He suggested we could go to the Detroit Auto Show after Toledo, so I jumped at the chance.

We got to Cobo Arena in our ambulance, pulled up to the very front where the police cars were parked and asked a cop where we could find parking for our ambulance. We meant where was a surface lot, not a parking garage, so we could fit the ambulance (they're very tall). He said "wait a minute, I'll move this car that's in front of you, move an orange cone and you can park right here." So man, I mean we parked RIGHT IN FRONT of the main door, so close that we left our winter coats in the car and just walked right in!

Let me tell you this is the only way to go see the show again! I got to see the entire SAAB lineup and I fell totally in love with the 9-3 Aero convertible. And with Gretchin the nordic goddess from Saab who was working the booth.

Anybody got $48 grand for the car they could loan me???

Anyone else go there? Did you see Gretchin? Not to be a male pig but Oh My God!!!
