Never heard of Benson Saab so I looked it up and Crescent City was sold to Benson. Apparently from your post, the crappy service didn't get better. We leased a new VW from them and when the rubber door jam lining fell off at less than 1000 miles we were quoted a three week wait to have it inspected for evaluation of a follow-up appointment.
A favorite quote came from the "sales manager" Ralph: "Its not in Crescent City Motors best interest to have customer service".
Good luck with the indie, I never found a mechanic I could trust there. I once thought I found one, especially when he promised to drop the car off at no extra charge. He dropped it off drunk and the hood wasn't even all the way shut--at 3am. The place was uptown on louisiana ave and Laural?
