I use one quart of lucas and the rest mobil 0-w40 and my engine stays so clean i thought it was new 180,000 miles on my 88' engine i also use a k&N filter i compaired to other filers WIX and such and the oil stays cleaner longer perod. after about 2500 miles the oil starts to darken but never B4. I drive like I'm in a hurry every where accelerate to red line and late break (when im in a mellow mood i down shift to slow down.) Thats why i love saabs i can beat the heck out of em and they keep ticking ive had hondas and chevys and they never lasted more than 6 months. with only like 125,000 miles. the saab body has 242,000 miles and its like new except for the headliner. i put an 88 motor in it at 176,000 and have put about 4 grand on that. I raced (at the strip) all summer with my motor that had 220,000 on it. it develped a knock toward the end of the summer. My fault because i pulled the waist gate actuator hose off and ran like that with stock internals and injectors. yea i had a diffrent motor so i didnt care.
