So as I mentioned earlier, I was offered a buyout package by GM as my job "box" was going away. It's been a whirlwind few days with other internal offers, all the negative GM press, and then just finding out today that I received an offer from Detroit Diesel (part of DaimlerChrysler) in their marketing department. I decided to take the package and will take that offer. So after I use this cash voucher towards a GM vehicle, (part of the package), I probably won't be buying another Saab for a long time. I'm still keeping my 1997 900S and will probably sell or trade my 9-3 sedan to get a SportCombi. To balance things out, I'll have to encourage my family to buy Chrysler or Mercedes vehicles.
Thanks for all your advice. I'll continue to be a Saabnet regular.
